CHECKLIST TO PACK DAILY:
We have a ratio of 16 campers to 2 coaches and or 8 campers to 1 coach.
Most of the day will be camp programs, but our professional instructors and coaches always bring the campers out in the mornings and or at lunch time for physical activity.
STEM subjects covered include mechanical and fluid physics, aeronautical flight, chemistry (endothermic and exothermic reactions), biology (using microscopes on a field trip to view a whole new tiny world in our Camper lab) and hands-on projects like structural building with our earthquake machine (to see which Campers structure holds together the longest). Campers during the 8 weeks will be introduced to 15 Mechanical Robotic Builds where Campers get to keep their Mechanical Built STEM builds which will include drones, elevators, hydraulic lifts, remote controlled vehicles such as cars and boats, and the use of over 20 different sensors that include (laser alarms, electro-magnetic sensors, temperature and humidity, motion sensors, colour sensors, distance sensors, steam sensors, sound sensors, potentiometers, ultrasonic and infra-red sensors and so many more. Campers will be teamed up and learn in a team how to build robotics that will accomplish various exciting challenges including the MARS Explorer and SUMO Robotic battle challenges.
Chess strategy is also introduced in this camp as well as Campers play chess in our proprietary chess platform which includes Camper to Camper Challenges where points are won and prizes gained for achieving higher and higher scores. Campers will be given super fun chess lessons unlike they’ve never known before; with Chess Puzzles, Chess Strategy Games, The Game Area Challenge and may choose to participate in the end of Summer FIDE-Rated Chess Tournament.
Campers present their projects in the Mall Showcase Display as well as at the Camper Celebration Party where all parents are invited to attend and where campers aged 7 to 14 showcase STEM creations. We also create a video for you to receive of your child presenting their project as a thank you to parents for joining the program.
Spark your child’s passion for innovation at our STEM and Robotics and Programming Summer Camp, where mornings kick off with energizing sports to spark both body and mind, setting the stage for a day of discovery. Over two exhilarating months, your budding engineers and programmers aged 8 to 14 will dive into the fascinating worlds of mechanical engineering, coding, robotics, science, and technology. They’ll design and build their own robots, crack the code of computer programming, move robotics they create, and unravel the mysteries of science in hands-on projects that make learning feel like play. This camp isn’t just about acquiring knowledge—it’s about inspiring a lifelong journey of curiosity, creativity, and technological mastery, all in an environment that’s as fun as it is intellectually stimulating.
